Electroluminescent technology is the paper thin, enticing light source that is revolutionizing the way businesses market their branded message to target audiences. Electroluminescent Lighting Panels (EL Panels) are set to take over back lit posters with 75% of energy saving amongst a host of other light source based products that are energy deficient, expensive and bulky.

The panels are powered via an inverter, which connects to the battery of the racecar. Surelight inverters can detect a fault condition in the lamp should it become open or short circuit. Therefore if output of the inverter falls to zero the red led on the side of the case illuminates. Remove the power to the inverter to reset. Supply to the inverter should be fused at 1.5amps.

Parallel Panels

Motorsport or Electroluminescent Parallel Panels from Surelight are made of a multi-layer material containing fluorescent dyes, dispersed in a binder with a high electrical constant. When an alternating current (AC) is applied, the EL Panel sheet emits light.

Motorsport Panels

Motorsport Panels make racing numbers and race numbers easily viewable during endurance races. Surelight is an ACO and WEC approved supplier of EL panels and waterproof inverters for the Le Mans LMP & GT Cars for night racing vehicle number illumination. Illumination is mandatory as per article 8.1.2.3 in the Sporting regulations.
