These lasers are then beam combined into one collimated beam of light to produce our primary single beam source. After beam combining, the single beam is then outputted via our two high speed galvometers, (X and Y Scanners). The scanners employed in all of our systems are high speed closed loop; this enables the end user to produce highly defined graphics and effects.

One of the major advantages the Orion system has over all of it’s competitors is that the system has been not only designed in house, but all of the optical components are then sealed in a secondary hermetic housing that provides protection for the sensitive optical surfaces of the scanners and the beam combining components.   This ensures that the maintenance for the end user is cut to a minimum.  The only maintenance the Orion system needs is cleaning the glass output window with a cloth.
