Ideal for any industrial lighting application the Phobos 220W LED high bay was designed to offer major energy savings when compared with traditional high bay equivalents.
Equivalent to sodium or metal halide high bay lights ranging from 450W-600W, the Surelight Phobos LED high bay lighting uses approximately 50-65% less energy than traditional alternatives.
Using high quality Phillips Lumileds LEDs the Phobos LED high bays offer excellent colour rendering and brightness for increased visibility.
Instant on/off the Phobos 220W LED high bay doesn't need to warm up like traditional metal-halide, mercury vapour or high pressure sodium lamps.
The Phobos offers a minimum life time of 30,000 hours, offering reduced maintenance cost, ideal for use in factories and warehousing or manufacturing premises where light replacement requires machinery to be shut down or where access to stock and storage areas has to be closed off (often costing a fortune).
Additionally system wattages of traditional high bay lighting are increased by ballasts and starters (depending on the type of lighting used).
The Phobos system wattage is a mere 220W.
Typically traditional high bay light sources have system wattages that are an additional 20% of the rated power of the light source.
For example a 400W metal halide light fitting may have a system wattage of 500W.
Applications of the Phobos 220W High Bay include; warehouse lighting, factory lighting, lighting for manufacturing and retail lighting.
